They say Canada is the land of the four seasons.

This is a picture i took today of our front yard today. I am so enchanted and mesmerised by the raw beauty of nature here. I love just watching the seasons change. We are having a real autumn here right now and its so magic. All the trees are different shades of reds and yellows and oranges and the leaves constantly fall on me as i walk around the village like some kind of romantic confetti. There are leaves all over the ground everywhere!!

Its getting darn cold too and our hot tub is getting used every day. We had one of the first snows of the season today on whistler mountain and are expecting snowe in the village in the next week or so. The bears have come down from the high mountain areas now and we have been seeing them around a bit more. They will be getting ready to hibernate in the next two months or so.

Our house is so nice and cosy. it is a wicked winter pad. It is ski in ski out with two hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoor. nice fire place and views of the nearby mountains. it is going to be soooooo much fun in winter!! They are building a tubing park here in whistler for winter wich will be wicked. I can't wait to try everything here this winter. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, tobboggening, snow-mobiling and loads of snow boarding!!

Mountain biking is almost over for the season so matty and jimmi are trying to get in as much riding as possible. Its a seriously rough sport and matty seems to get a new injury every week or so. nothing too serious just lots of cuts and bruises. I have been doing lots of cross country riding but it is getting so cold that my ears burn with wind nip as i ride so i don't know how much longer i'll do it.

Working from home here is working well and the busines is doing great. We will work hard in the in between season so that we can snow board our butts of in winter.
